<p><span style="font-size: 13pt"><strong>ALGER COUNTY, MI</strong>&#160;-- A local man is recovering from undisclosed injuries in a hospital in Michigan's Upper Peninsula after being involved in a snowmobile accident. According to the Alger County Sheriff's Office, they&#160; received a report of an accident involving a snowmobile and another motor vehicle at around 9:50 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 13pt">The Sheriff's office said the investigation is indicating that Travis Joe Ross, 37 year old man from Charlotte, MI was riding his snowmobile, heading east on H-58 at a high rate of speed when he collided with a snowmobile trailer that was being towed by a pickup truck. Sheriff's office say Mr. Ross was ejected from his snowmobile and came to rest approximately 100 feet from the point of impact. Mr Ross was injured in the snomobile crash and</span><span style="font-size: 13pt">&#160;was transported to UP Health Systems which is located in Marquette. He is reportedly in stable condition. According to the Alger County Sheriff's Office, the investigation points to high speed and reckless driving as factors in the cause of the snowmobile crash.
